Interpretive Bridging
Lincoln, Nebraska, 2009
This theoretical project is located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Innovation Campus (formerly the Nebraska State Fairgrounds). The project program called for adding parking on the north sided of Salt Creek, a bridge over Salt Creek for commuters to reach Innovation Campus, establishing a Salt Creek Research Center for university and private research, and establishing a Salt Creek Interpretive Center for visitors and public.
The solution to bridging Salt Creek in a way that generates an interpretive and interactive experience for the user is achieved through dynamic interactions and variations between the structure and landscape.
